Representatives from a wide range of child-serving organizations attended A Forum: Best Practices in Emergency Preparedness for Child Serving Organizations on October 25th in Osage Beach. This forum was designed to assist the various organizations in assessing emergency situation risks identifying available resources for emergency preparedness and response, and implementing best practices in emergency preparedness planning. Among those attending were school board members, school administrators, law enforcement, first responders and other persons whose job duties include public safety and/or emergency planning and response.
